Description
INSOMNIA
Nightly visions
I try to catch,
In vain.
For alase,
When every grain
Falls in the hour glass,
Another hour has come to pass.
Not bitter, nor sour,
But worried
With the passing hour.
What dreams have you?
Mine are so few

Ahh not only a visual artist then Tiago? Beautiful words from a beautiful mind.
Impressive. I have sleepless nights, too, so can really relate to this. So, you have many talents, I see.
You're a wonderful poet! I loved that.. it hit on my restless nights...how can you dream on those nights. When you finally fall asleep you've so little time for them.
Insomnia...is that what comes between unscheduled naps when you're trying to get something done? I wish restless nights were the exception but they seem to be the rule,as I am up nights working. And dreams are for those who sleep...reality is the curse of heavy mortality that gets heavier with each passing hour. That's what insommnia is to me.
Powerful and excellent story! Just magnificent!
Very enjoyable for me indeed!Excellent!!:o)
This is lovely, romantic poetry that seems to be written by one who loves and finds great comfort and peace in laying beside your sleeping partner, even enjoying their dreams that elude you. Excellent poem from an excellent artist and writer. CC
It takes me so many words to capture my emotions, and you have described them in so few. This is the power of a poet.
I am impressed by the awesome writing style that conveys and shows yor feelings so well. Compliments.. you make me happy I choose to open this piece :)
Beautiful poem, I love the way you've made it so vivid in my mind, the time passing by, the other person sleeping, this whole nightly feeling-- and it's so soft and loving. Beautiful intimate poem.
Not only a talented artist, but a wonderful poet, as well? I love it! Especially the conclusion!
