Description
This is my buddy Dan, he normally takes "The Fisherman Award" every year, but he was beaten out by Joey this time. As you can see, he just didn't show the same dedication to his sport...
Olympus C-720 (God, I love this camera!), Camp Sanity, Maine

LOL! Well, I guess you could say Dan put his comfort over determination to winn :D
I dig that, never move to much :) Very funny shot, makes me smile.
Now that's some serious fishing! Mingling with the fishes! Great capture! :)
can't win 'em all, all of the time... them dadblasted whippersnappers! ...yep, he looks pretty relaxed! :] nice compo here JD
A really beautiful shot, this one. The calmness of the water and on his face... just so relaxing! I can almost feel the breeze through the trees. Wonderful atmosphere! :)
Saint Peter prepares to Feed Camp Sanity, while My Bestest Friend John encourages Him to keep His Eye's open...I am sorry...He is no Zane Grey (Renouned U.S.Fisherman)...but He sure look's Laid Back...I am glad You both had Fun....did the Kids get to have as much fun as You two???
Authentic water sports are always in style. The half height water-skiers chair would have immersed him too much in his sport.
This is happiness and a peaceful and relaxed photo... and fresh :)
there is a great sense of peace here!
This is excellent John!! Reminds me of my Dad, may he rest in peace, who was an avid fisherman. Love this!!
Ahh S I taught my son how to fish. I think it's tradition in my family that the women teach the men because my great grandma did it too..on down the line. I taught half the boys in this town to fish I think LOL I think this photo is wonderful!
this is awesome....maybe a big tall budwiser in the pocket with a real long straw would have been my choice while waiting for the bite, mmm sounds refreshing
Well the Lazy Toad!!!!! Excellent image john. See Yer Mate! Alan.
LOL...Excellent Shot,He just thinking about the one that got away.:)
LOL... looks pretty comfortable to him! Wonderful shot, John!
Ha ha well he does look well chilled out.. Perhaps using his toes as Radar is a new technique!! ;-)
Nice and relaxed - what a way to chill out!! Nice work JD!
Doesn't get any better than this...I agree with Marty Mcfly, he needs a beer.
Great work .... Reminds me of 'my' favorite 'fishing' joke .... Stand up .... Stretch out your 'right' arm, palm sideways (like you were going to 'shake hands) .... Now say .... "Did ya' hear about the one armed fisherman that caught one this big????" .... hehe.
