Description
A young bird I met on my walk yesterday.
He was so shy that he flew away
when I tried to get nearer.
Don't know what kind of bird he is.
Young birds don't have the color of their parents.
Canon Ixus 400 and a little sharpening

You know, most people wouldn't care enough to take a pic of a plain looking bird like this...let alone post it.I'm glad you did cause the finest beauty is that which others either ignore or don't even recognize. Now we need to find out what kind of bird it is...anyone have an idea?
When I look in my book it seems that it is a thrush of some kind, the form of the beak looks like that, possibly a fieldfare.
a beautiful composition with great lighting!
What you say I am gray and plain and nobody loves me?! :( Gunsan and Agny loves me, that is all I need! Great catch, Gun!
