She sees him sometimes from afar, as he walks among the old ruins. She calls to him, but he never stops. Lovely scene, so rich with detail. And it is very compelling the way all the characters, including the statue, are looking for 'him'. I feel his presence in this piece, and like the mysterious man, this picture is a 'wonderful dream'. CC
