One of The Underground Shamans
Each lagoon is a unique and precious ecosystem where fresh and saltwater mix with rhythm of the tides. Both plants and animal life must adapt to two vastly different bases for Life in the ebb and flow . . . ebb and flow. The Shaman of the Lagoon says this makes the birdsong sweeter there. She says the soul of man hovers between earth and spirit much like coastal clouds hover between being and non-being in their captivity to the stroke of the tides.
