Description
Here's the series of robot redesigns (the original design is in a box somewhere). From left to right:
9-10th grade Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Junior HighSchool - George Washington HighSchool. Marker on looseleaf paper.
Anitoch College, Yellow Springs Ohio. Pen and Ink on Cardstock.
My Living room, 4am, after being up 48hrs. Gel pen on white printer paper.
I notice a trend to slim the design and (if you'd seen the original) I'm also starting to go backwards in exposing parts. The original had everything covered up, the next one had the joints exposed, then the next where his body had everything hanging out, and now this one, where the joints are basically exposed. Just thought it would be interesting to see the design's progression.

Uhm, I meant Antioch. I'm still sleepy, forgive me.
Awesome evolution! It's a great trip down memory lane, and a terrific insight into the mind of an artist. Now tell us... what does good ol' super-four-eyes do? :o)
What a nice example! thanks for sharing, that gives some hope for the rest of us :)
Thanks! He's a guard. Basically cannon fodder for a villain (there's hundreds of 'em). That's why there's so many eyes...the one from college has the most eyes, including one in the stomach!
