Wer die Zukunft veraendert, veraendert die Vergangenheit. Egal wie man es dreht und wendet, allein sein Auftauchen in der Zukunft koennte katastrophale Wirkungen in seiner Vergangenheit bewirken.

The future could turn out to not be so bright after all, I am reminded of a past song whose words said "The future is so bright, you have to wear shades". This time traveler would do better to go back in time and select a better period in his time machine perhaps, if there ever was one for sure as the past has always been full of great times for those who could afford it. The past sounds a lot like the present times we live in now as only the wealthy are not worried about the cost of life in the world we all live in today. :)

I agree with you there. But which time period do you choose, then? Ideally, the one before humans appeared? :D

Motorbike accident or Morlocks?

Ah, you're the first one to crack it. Exactly—the time machine just appeared out of nowhere, and the poor driver lost his balance from the shock :D

My first thought on seeing this was, did the time travellers appearance cause this fellow to fall off his bike? But I see you had already answered that question in your reply to Heywoody.

Ah, the classic time machine!

That time-hopper better disappear quick before those police drones arrest him.

And if I was him I would hop 10 yrs into the future, look around for 2 or 20 minutes, then hop forward another 10 yrs -- and keep hopping like that, while making notes as to which decades are the best -- or worst;-)

Then after 20 hops I'd take a 3 day vacation, and then continue the routine.

Sounds like a good plan, but the question is whether he can jump that precisely with the machine, and what the best decade would be then :)

this is so typical of your many-sided vision as an artist...a man from another age, looking over a slain person (I assume the driver of that motorcycle---though in your work, he/she could be from somewhere else too...maybe from that strange opening in the back of this courtyard...)

And the two vehicles---one 19th century, one 21st century...and the looming shadowed buildings above. Magritte comes to mind sometimes...but this is really a scene we just happened to 'discover' (as if on a walk), and found a tragedy, a stranger helping out (perhaps), and a big open space with mystery in it. A powerful piece. And those flying drones---they cold be friendly or scary...we have to figure that out for ourselves...

Thanks a lot, Mark. Yeah, you know I love doing that—incorporating little details that spark the viewer's imagination. It can have a fantastic effect sometimes. A perfect example: I create an image, Johnny gets inspired and makes a video, a single sentence in that video sparks something in you, and you write that wonderful story. If only it worked like that more often, I’d be so happy! :D
