zoomed, this is impressive...we get to see the mouth on these beasts. I never thought about how they get these things off the ground...
You caught the flames---not easy, as flames don't photograph well. And that contraption on the bottom---the flame-maker?---it really stands out next to the graceful mass of the balloon. (It looks like a military attack, lol.)
You must really run around at these shows, to get these shots, poking, kneeling, winnowing your way everywhere. Kudos. A big, fun capture.
yes mega running around to the areas where they are fueling and lifting off. at my age difficult to bend backwards and look up to capture those under view shots, feel like falling over.
lol---you're a photographer, sir! Like all of us at a certain age, bending, running, twisting is insane---but we do it for the picture. You did a great job with these!
