a touching image, lordi, and poignant. The chair is a wheelchair (suggesting age and infirmity), and I love that you gave it a "human" cushion (that flowered seat). The entire room exerts a beautiful "pull", a nostalgia or mourning for something precioous that is lost.
elements like the photo on the wall, aged and slighty decayed....the slight decay of the wall itself, and the wood and moulding, etc. And a touching display of simple objects, like his wife's knitting materials on the table. WIth a beautiful bunch of branches and leaves, out of the window.
It feels like an old "keepsake," an image from a time long past. And your lighting is introspective and gentle. This is a touching imge of loss and love, very sensitively done.
