Images full of dynamism. Capturing that exact moment requires quite a bit of skill and a little bit of luck. Very well done.

(you write like a photographer! Didn't you mention it in an upload?) As you know if you are or were a photographer, the right moment starts to happen "by itself"---you're almost the vehicle, and the moment just fills you. You find yourself "possessed" by the camera. (That little sucker has a will of its own.) I'd shot so many waves---and got a standing ovation when one of them flattened me: several photographers saw it and cheered---that I kind of knew when to shoot. Thank you for your very kind words.

Sorry I've not been around much lately.. Dealing with a lot of stuff right now. Saw our Dr. yesterday - she changed my depression meds back to the original (that the ER at the other hospital took me off of..). Hopefully I'll be doing better soon.

astonishing captures Mark. the waves are churning big. love how you captured the water huge drops at the wave tips. that 4th down looks like it's shooting straight up like volcano lava. amazing reflections and fx .thanks for sharing my friend.

hope your camera did not get too wet. my Canon camera would have soaked up the water and ruined it. would love taking shots of waves like this.

Oh if your beautiful Canon got wet, it would take off and never talk to you again! When I shot waves, I immediately crouched over that camera, and didn't move until the water was gone. I actually shout at the waves (other photographers do too: when you go to the Lake at dawn, there are LOTS of photographers out there...and some of them scream at the water...hey, we're all deranged: You're a photographer, you know how obsessive it gets: You'll climb under a truck to get the right shot, lol)

Capturing droplets is a matter of shooting a gazillion times in a row. (If you had a big body of water near you, you'd be capturing it too---if you can do those eye popping balloon shots, you'd probably have a heyday at a big lake.) Thanks as always for your kindness, Steve.

An impressive knack for it. I’m not a professional photographer—just a hobbyist—but that’s exactly why I know how hard it can be to get the perfect shot. Lighting, angles, the right timing, and—of course—that one precise moment. That’s why I like my graphics software so much; I can create and render everything at my own pace. It certainly doesn't happen any faster than with a camera, but I can shape the reality within the program so that I’m able to render it :D

thanks caty! I was crazy enough to get soaked, just to photograph waves...some photographers go through a lot worse! The camera has a "mystical pull" over us. Put one in your hand, and suddenly you'll do anything to "get a good shot". Thanks for stopping by!
