Description
Rather than staying in the north-west of England like most of her classmates, Héloïse Fournier spent Summer Break at her grandparents' house in the small village of Roche-Sainte-Aube, Provence, France.
Her morning routine involved walking to the local boulangerie shortly after sunrise to pick up enough bread for the family for the rest of the day, along with a bottle of wine or two. After returning home with the goods, she would then check to see if the hens had laid any eggs, adding those to the breakfast that her grandmother would be preparing in the kitchen.
What a life compared to her mornings back in England!
