another one of your serious contemplative pieces...with your title and the cross, one thinks of the last creature left on earth...an apocalyptic feeling...the light is tinged in a bleached gray, and the silhouette is dark and poignant. Sobering and thoughtful. (I hope we're not all heading in that direction...sometimes it feels that way...) Beautiful, even in its darkness.
Thank you, but every living being eventually heads toward something like that. It’s just that the moment of departure sometimes possesses a certain dark beauty, if one is lucky.
Looking at this render reminds me of the TV series "The Vikings" - I can just visualize a horde of renegading Vikings coming over the hill, ready to unleash holy hell on the English! Nicely rendered!

I'm a sucker for desolate, windswept places in my scenes and you just gave me an idea here. No copy, because I don't use the same software as you do. I'm manly a Photoshop artist (CS6). Oh, I won't touch your image. Good Heavens, no. But it sparked my imagination, so I will make one of my own. It will take some time, because I've got a stack of ideas to work through, but your image definitely made an impression and gave me another one to consider.
