You just have to be careful that the wheels of your prized ride don't spin and get you stuck in the sand! :)

No need to worry as the car getting stuck, as it has been carefully flown in an set down by a special prototype quadcopter flying machine that will also be in charge of removing it once all the camera video shots of this Porsche shoot are complete.

It was flown in and it will flown out of this island...lets hope none of your Raptors disturb the scene as it is being shot. This island is rumored to have a few left over dinosaur creatures from the last time you filmed your Predator Raptor images! lol :)

Yes they certainly did a great job with the design of this car...the 911 early design just keeps getting better and better as they update it, but do does the price of these cars. :)

Very realisic interaction of the waves with the wheels. Not sure salt water is good for the car though, even if it's a Porsche

I was attempting to keep the sense of realism high, but I kind of was taken aback when the salt water splashed on those wheels also...thankfully this car was shot on Fantasy Island, a place where all your dreams can come true, including getting those wheels as good as new again! lol :)

Looks just like the Porsche 911, which, according to many, was the greatest publicly-available sports car at that time.

What's interesting, though, is that a Honda Civic hybrid I recently test-drove accelerates faster than that original Porsche ... but I'm okay with that because in my book progress is not a bad thing :-)

I thank you Max for taking a look at the video my friend! This Porsche 930 Turbo is the special high performance version of the classic Porsche 911 as this supercharged version was created in the years 1975 to 1989.

Its great to hear that you got to experience the acceleration of the Honda Civic hybrid that you test drove. There is no beating that maximum Torque that comes from the electric motor part of the hybrid system upon takeoff. Its amazing how far modern cars have matched the performance of yesterdays classics.

I took a break from my other projects in order to create this easy video since all I had to worry about was moving water, palm trees and great weather on a tropical beach where all your dreams can come true. I shot all the videos with locked camera stills shots and then animated the scale settings to mimic the motion of the camera zooming in slowly in my editing program.

This is just a tip for you when you do your own animations Max. I was having trouble with the camera moving too fast or not fast enough and therefore went this way on this animation. Sometimes generating a video with the camera locked in place allows me more control to move the image by scaling it (zooming in) in post.

Still slowly working on Maxine Pizza Girl...it will eventually get done my friend! :)

Superb image which reminds me of an "adventure"...I was visiting Dominican Republic and was driving a rented car. I parked this car next to a superb beach and had a great walk along the shore. When I got back I saw that the car had been damaged by "thiefs". ? The car rental guys refused to consider it was an "accident"...but a lawyer who was a friend of mine helped me a at the end of the day I paid...nothing ! The moral of the story is, don't leave your car alone on a beach !!!

I saw the video a few times, but decided to comment here (because I'm not sure youtube likes long comments! and I don't wanna look like a total hog, lol)...

This 1 minute commercial is perfect, Johnny. The setting is what top end advertisers love, exotic, oozing luxury, the light and textures are beautiful, and the car, as you say, picks up reflections beautifully. And P.Trendway has the perfect voice. (Is he real? I remember him from one other video of yours---is he AI? He has the right voice! A bit like Richard Burton..very classy.) (He might not be perfect for a beat-up Dodge Dart---gilbert gottfried or joe pesci would be good for that---but he's perfect for this beauty.) And I looked up Singer--I had no idea such companies existed! So they specialize in bespoke reconditioning/re-imagining classic porsche's? I had no idea! It must be a major commitment---the articles said they work forever on these designs. I image you'd need a lotta money to order one.

You use lots of angles, typical of fine auto ads. And you start out with 2 angles and then a straight side---see, that's just basic good sequencing, and having worked a bit in advertising, I know it's what the pros do. Plus in one shot a wave comes crashing over the line of the car-roof---a kind of hand coming out and patting the car on the head. Sweet. And the side shot as a "punctuation mark" for the previous partial shots is pro sequencing too.

Love the reflections on the car---with wave movement sliding across the chrome. Very pro. And when we see the waves on the sand, they're like pure glass. That would emphasize the sheen of the car---as well as provide another smooth reflecting surface.

In one shot you have a golden sunset, where everything is tinged in gold. A sweet way to come to an end. And then you pan away (classic "end shot" stuff, a "final view" so to speak)...and we see a puddle of water in foreground, shining like a mirror. And then the wave washes in like molten glass; and it obliterates the puddle and forms a new one. Great way to end. This has all the earmarks of your work, and yes, it would be a perfect ad for the car. (If you could sell it for, like, 2 grand, I'd buy it!) Smooth camera, love the lighting and reflections, and you use water like a visual actor, and that last shot is perfect...pro all the way. Terrific job, Johnny. Again.

Its nice that you looked into the Singer name of this special Porsche business that specializes in taking a classic Porsche and reconditioning into what the business refers to as a reimagining of a Porsche 911 model and merging the classic design into the Twenty-First Century. They put as much as 4000 hours of work on some cars, depending on customer demands and yes they are very expensive with many going at auction from 750,000 to over a million dollars...costs only those with great wealth can afford.

The voice I use to narrate the video is AI and I have assigned this particular voice to an AI actor I named Philippe Trendway. His voice has a certain distinguished elegant and eloquent sound to it. I wanted to create a name that was European in origin so I chose Phillippe and spelled it as the French do, but the name originally has its roots in Greek origin which means "lover of horses". I then chose "Trendway" as his last name which has its roots in England and originates from the medieval period, which means "well travelled man" I did use him on a previous video in which he starred as race retired car driver.

It just may take romance angle to it since she will soon meet her pirate captain on a pirate ship and that could then be the beginning of a special relationship between the two of them on this island which would be perfect place for the two of them to be together since this is Fantasy Island...a place where dreams can come true! :)
