Einverstanden - I have not seen this film but as it is a remake with Tom Cruise I think I'll give it a miss. His War of the Worlds was awful. :-)

Being one who viewed this movie and compared it to the one with Brendan Frazier in the original Mummy, I will take the first one for sure even though I found many scenes in the movie with Tom Cruise to be well done, but unrealistic as all of his Mission Impossible movies go.
I say the driver of this vehicle keeps driving to the nearest burger food restaurant to grab a bite to eat. Seems like many here the states tend to do this after watching a movie. :)
I agree with you. The originals are usually better. Of course, special effects have come a long way since then, but effects aren't everything. And I don't know—the driver is in England, after all. I have to admit I have no idea what they do after the movie. But after this film? Probably a visit to the pub :D

just as a personal note, my favorite "mummy" was with boris karloff (that's reeeally old) though I think I saw the bfrasier one, and I think I liked it. Haven't seen the t.cruise version yet.
What I so like about this is that after a movie, the scene isn't a beautiful theater or a cafe w/ friends: It's a big cement garage, with neon light, and all the signs ("lots available," "exit, " etc). Perfect capture of reality. And you got the driver on the other side---this is definitely England (as you say). Love this concept.
