You'd laugh at me — well I did anyway...
Knowing that it's a good idea to use fictional phone numbers that won't result in nuisance calls if somebody dials them, I made sure to find out how to do that for the USA. (I live in London, England). So I used a proper Arizona area code and the 555 exchange number, then put the number in the proper 0100-0199 range reserved for fictional numbers. Great, job done! Nope.
I'd used the 520 area code for Southern Arizona — why not? My imaginary town is meant to be in that area, so it fits the story and setting perfectly. Until I found out that the area code 520 did not exist in 1965, when my story is set. So yes, I went back and altered the area code to 602. which DID exist in 1965.
Would anyone have noticed if I didn't bother to change that area code? Probably not. Was all that research needed for a convincing result? Probably not. But I can't help myself.
But at least I got a laugh out of it, even if it was laughing at myself.

Just a comment for information; I usually reply to all comments, but I will be away from home for a while starting today, so I may not manage to log in here much. Replies may be delayed as a result and I may even miss a few comments. The trip should be fun, and peaceful, which home won't be during the Notting Hill Carnage — er, Carnival.

I understand the desire to escape the carnage of huge crowds in your home space. I live just around the corner from the Reading Rock Festival and the road outside my home is currently cram-packed with cars and pedestrians on their way there.

From the description, it would appear that the modeling and texturing are yours. Whatever the case may be, some fine work here!
Texturing and UV mapping is mine, the models are purchases. In the case of the trailer I bought a 32 foot single axle trailer and made this one from it, a 53 foot trailer.
I’m having fun with all of these vehicles, preparing them for use in a web-comic.
