lach Naja, an manchen ecken wurde bis heute nicht ganz aufgeräumt :D Und zugegeben - die Kinder sind unrealistisch ohne handy lach
Lieber nach dem Krieg als vor oder während einem solchen. Abgesehen von den lustigen spielenden Kindern, eine schöne Vegetation, besonders der Baum rechts siehr super aus.

When I was small we would be climbing all over that tank and playing on it. More fun that any swing or slide ;-)

Excellent scene. I'd have to agree with max-. When I was small, we would probably have made a camp inside the tank and used it as a plaything.
Though the resilience of children is remarkable - they live through something as terrible as war but, once it is over, they play happily in the wreckage. :-)

(I really thought I'd commented on this...ah well...) This is exactly what you called it: A play-day long after the war ended. The battle leftovers are now a playground The running kid exemplifies the new found freedom. And you have a kid on the ground with a play car (or truck) and I think he's wearing a helmet: A once fierce symbol of war is now a plaything. And the tank is overgrown by nature. (And you have a helmet with a hole in it---I assume from battle.)
This is really striking. I stepped inside a WWII tank, years back, at the invitation of a friend who was in the army (it was an old tank---I was born after WWII). Those things are CRAMPED inside! It's terrifying! You barely see where you're going. The tank in your image is sunken too---this is really well done, lordi! Very thoughtfully done.
Thank you. Yes, these things weren't exactly built to serve as dance halls. I imagined that the souls of the children—who evidently didn't experience the horror themselves—would simply view it as an exciting toy in their innocence, rather than as a machine of terror.
