Great lighting - very authentic!
Thank you!
I do take into account what the headlight pattern is like on a real car, with the main beam and the outer spill light. Also in older cars the slight yellow tint while in many modern cars it is true neutral white or has a slight blue tint. To make that effect in Blender I use a spotlight with a reasonable beam angle for the beam, plus a point light for the spill light. It seems to work. I even test the turn indicators and brake lights in bright daylight to make sure they are bright enough to be seen when the sun is shining.
Lighting looks great. Only the rear licence plate light appears to have blown. :-)
Oh, I forgot to switch it on for that shot! Thanks for the reminder though.
