Avarris moved around the large prep table to stand near where Erica was standing, silently watching her with a gleamer in her eyes. "Wonder if you would actually show." She smiled warmly, the long knife spinning between her fingers as she lifted a cup of coffee to her lips. "Wouldn't dream of missing it." Avarris replied with a slight tremor in her voice. "First," Erica indicated to the cup of coffee waiting before her. "Relax. We have a few minutes before we begin. Shift change is in an hour. We begin after we settle in. Her eyes shifted slightly, and Avarris knew she was taking keen notice to her pointed ears, now revealed by her drawn back hair.
