Thanks, Heywoody. Unfortunately, Bryce and Vue are worlds apart—if only because of Bryce's age. But I’m not sure if that’s really the way you work with terrains in Vue. In Bryce, the best way to create a waterfall is using terrains and textures; I get the feeling Vue would rather just import something there :D

Terrains & textures in Vue also - land, water, skies and plants are generally native vue. What I like about this is how the water at the top morphs into foam at the bottom

Yup, Bryce terrains can do so much more than just terrains;-)

That entire waterfall can be a carefully 'painted' grayscale, then 'terrained', and then given just the right water texture with refraction ;-)

Beautiful looking waterfall! The details you place on your images makes it easy for Ai to add movement and realism to what all ready exists here. I know not many like AI, but one can not argue that it does a nice job at animating the beauty that is all ready existing in the image.

When I admire an image like this one for animation purposes, what I see to add with AI is the water cascading over and splashing at the bottom and creating a slight mist as it spreads throughout the area. I see a slight gust of wind blowing on the leaves and adding a bit of movement to them. Beyond that I see nothing else that I would add to this magnificent image! :)
