Description
Yes, now it is mapped I was able to produce the first textures for it. I may do a motorhome version of this, though it isn't firmly decided.
Since my last post I have done the following:
⬤ Added a fuel filler door. It is hardly visible but it's there.
⬤ Textured the bodywork and reworked the tyres to improve their realism.
⬤ Added front wheel hubs and brake details. These buses came with front disk brakes even way back in 1957 and there was no sign of them, you could see straight through the wheel vents to the road beneath the bus.
⬤ Added 1965 style Arizona license plates front and rear.
⬤ Added wipers.
⬤ Added a swing-out stop sign.
⬤ Removed the original mirrors and modelled better ones.
I won't bother posting when it's rigged because it won't look any different, but if I do other versions of it I will post images of those. I hope people enjoy seeing this project as much as I enjoyed doing the work on this model.

Thanks Rod, I enjoyed this project. There are no buses like this in the UK, except two imported by a custom shop who made motorhomes out of them. They were great vehicles in their day and Chevrolet sold a lot of this range, from 12 and 24 seaters up to the 60 seat ones. This one doesn't have the high density seating and would seat 32 passengers.
