Description
I used the rims from one of the wheels supplied and deleted the middle, then added stock wheel and hubcap as used on some of the original 1961 Econoline vehicles. The wheel then had to be narrowed down to stock width and the result looks rather cool, as those old Econoline vehicles did in real life. The fancy custom wheels look fine, but most people didn't have them so the stock version is going to be useful too.
Apart from maybe making a few more textures this project is done. I started it Friday evening and finished Saturday evening; it is so nice to have a 3D project that doesn't take weeks, so in between the big projects I am going to continue doing short projects too. It is motivating to finish models more often, so it helps keep me going on the bigger projects like my flyers.

We never had this model of Ford in the UK - we have the Transit Van which seems to fulfill a similar role. :-)
The Transit was Ford's successor to the Econoline range, and was exported to even more countries. Sadly finding the Econoline range in the UK is very rare, especially the first body types. Thanks for the visit!
