Hi everyone!
I am a Hobbyist just having fun with Graphics.
I have been away from this site for a very long time, but I am happy
to be back and look forward to seeing all the wonderful art from the
talented artists who post here at Renderosity.
I work primarily with Poser Pro 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and Adobe
Premiere Pro. It's older software but it works for me :-)
I mostly use V4 and M4 in all my animations. they are easy to work
with and do not take excessive resources away from my PC. I use a
Dell Optiplex 7010. It's a great computer and you can find them cheap
on e-bay.
While I do most of my own modeling using 3ds Max, I primarily model
the environments in which my Poser characters live.I find myself going
to Daz3d and RMP for all my character, texture and clothing needs.
I animate and set up all my characters inside Poser and then transfer
them to Max by using a Fusion Poser/Max plugin. I then set up the lights,
cameras and all needed textures within Max.
I render the animations by using a V-Ray plugin. I use a 2.35 image aspect
ratio on all my video animations. It just gives them a more cinematic look.
I thank you for looking at my Gallery!
Your comments are always appreciated.

...hmmm, it is PERFECT..just like a real movie
I a great pleasure to have your support my friend...I look forward to viewing more of your original style of art work that you have done in the coming days. Thank you for stopping by to take a look! :)
Wow, I'm stunned by the video, going from portraits to this! Even knowing AI goes better and better very fast, there is still the need of somebody skilled to put it in the good direction. Fortunately, you are around. And I'm glad that Erika decided to go down from her fav cliff to cross Liam's path. They have a full valley to explore together. With the montage you did, definitively the place I would dream to live.
Not counting that you were able to sort the images with sometimes the FotoSketcher "grain" to be normal.
And... I didn't expect to see the babies at the end :) :) A great surprise. Erika and Liam adopted very fast to have a family of their own :) Thank you very much for the time you have taken by doing this video!
I hope Steff will come back. Sometimes, it happens we need a break before to continue.
Caty, I just want you to know what a great pleasure I had working with your amazing content...the hardest part was deciding what selection of images I would animate for you. You have so many wonderful images that unfortunately some were left behind. The one I hated to leave behind the most was an image that was to be Erika's little sister.
I had the images for her all done and ready for an animation but unfortunately I was not able to include them in the animation. It may be something I have to do as a follow up story to how life is working out for Erika, Liam and her little sister.
I thank you so much for the privilege and pleasure of working with your wonderful images my friend! :)
No ! You're kidding me ! this is not a human/AI creation, it's real...eveything is real ! the mountains, the creek, the chalet the girl, the guy, the forest, the sea...and you used videos...no ? Wow ! Your best ? Maybe.
Gaius, you are always much too kind toward my animations. Your art images always bring me pleasure in viewing them and I often wish I had the ability see the world with the humor that you put into all the images you share with this community.
It may be time for you to consider if perhaps you may want me to turn a few of your images into animations...if you are interested, site mail me.
I thank you for the amazing kind comments and your continued support my friend! :-)
Johnny, this is simply stunning! It's like seeing the beauty of Caty's images multiplied by a thousand :-)
The way that small distant cabin becomes so big, life-like and richly detailed is amazing -- I can't wait to rent it for a week or so!And the characters are wonderful, and the cats are too cute!
Also, many of those scenes even remind me of actual places I have visited years ago.
I think Caty will be very happy to see this;-)
Max I want to thank you for all the amazing support you have shown my animations. I will soon be starting to work on a long 2 part project I have planned for you involving Maxine (Pizza Girl) as the first part and then on to a second part doing something similar to what I did for Caty here in using the AI images created in your gallery.
I am not rushing on it and just taking my time with it, I will probably start the second part after I am done with my favorite "Pizza Girl" presentation. Thank you once again for being supportive of my videos on YouTube also. :)
what a wonderful and creative pice of art .-)
I thank you both for your kind comment and stopping by to take a look at it my friend! :-)
Congratulations!!! Fantastic work! Characters and scenes! I admire your wonderful work!
I thank you for stopping by to take a look my friend, its a always special when a talented artist stops by to view my animation! :)
well johnny, another one of your finely done videos...(I saw it on youtube, as some of your ytube videos have been a little longer (yes?) but I think this one was the same on both sites. Since my comments are long, I'll comment here. I don't know if YTube is big on book-long comments!)
You have a real feel for the moving camera, using it to tell your story. You start with a closeup of erika, who in turn introduces us to Liam. And your camera does all the introducing. You close in on the cottage (where L. lives) and then cut and go to a closeup. (Master Shot > Closeup. Standard film grammar, which you have down pat.) Then you enter the cottage, smoothly. I have no idea how 3D and AI works: A real camera---to get the smoothness you get---would either require tracks ((tracking shots)), or use a steadicam ((whose weights keep it from bobbing up and down)); or else the cinematographer would have an incredibly still grip. But you're using software: so I have no idea how it's done...but however it's done, your camera moves glide like the air, so smoothly and gently. Well done, sir.)
Then Liam is seen seated, and HE introduces...But he speaks for YOU, it seems---even mentioning other artists you know. Liam suddenly speaks for you, and mentions a few future projects of yours---love it! Love how he interjects this in the middle of your video...
I also like when he takes us into those beautiful nature shots --- caty's work I presume (from your credits): she does gorgeous scenes and stills! Truly beauttiful. And Liam is our intro to them. And at one point he turns to us and puts his hand up---a visual "stop!" cue. As if to say, "transition time: just watch..." Gotta love that.
And then the water scenes and fall path and so on. In these, you allow sun flare, which I love. Some directors go out of their way to avoid flare; but others love it. It's clearly a function of the lens---a pure lens creation. But it's beautiful in the right hands---I was happy you didn't take it out in editing.
For those who are sensitive to music, you did something very music-sensitive: When the orchestra drops out---revealing just solo piano---you---in perfect sync---zero in on Liam and erika, who sit near the waves. Solo piano for solo couple. (That's what good film scoring does.) And then, those waves look like they're gonna wash them away, lol! Well done, sir! We see quickly, of course, that the waves are a distance away, but you made them appear right on top of them---the drama of big waves! (I've been there: I was smashed by huge waves while photographing them, several times: They hit hard! I even posted a few way back in my gallery, like in the early 1800s...)
More breathtaking scenes...and one incl a hooded man with ears (!!!)---is he a cat-man? It's the one with the spooky mansion, and cats inside--and I love how the cats slowly walk into the camera. (Who IS that guy! The cats I recognize---but the guy? And you have spooky crow-or-raven-like birds flying around too. Great little scene! A sudden interlude from "Dracula meets the Kittens". And then the even more amazing face-inside-a-painting----I don't know how you imagined that, but it's just great. My kind of specific--surrounded by very formal gallery attendees. Great contrasts!
Finally the credits: It's a sweet how you give title-credits to a survey of Caty's beautiful images. Bowing to your source material. And then fade...or as some in the 'biz' like to say: "Annnnnnd: SCENE!") Terrific work, Johnny; always so sensitively filmed and edited and presented. And it's really nice how you showcase the work of other 3D artists. (I'd pay to see you say, "I had the privilege to work with Rembrandt, an old pal from Amersterdam...he agreed to let me use some of his paintings---shout out, ol' buddy!") (Then give a link to his gallery...) Another terrific upload from you. Sensitive, caring, like fine wine...All the best to you!
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment on this animation Mark! Your words are golden my friend and even though I may not deserve all the ways in which you complemented my animation...I accept them all with great pleasure!
You are a very important part of this site, as you are supportive of the work of others with your caring words. If only I had your gift for attaching letters in to words and then taking those words to form beautiful sentences describing the art work of others in the elegant and excellent way that you do...I might have chosen a different path and profession in my life with a gift like yours my friend.
Mark, I once again thank you for being part of this community and for all the support you have given me throughout the years!
Wonderful work! Head and shoulders above the rest. Very inspiring!
Thank you for stopping by and to take a look my friend, its always nice to have the support of other artists on this site. I am exited to see the direction that you are taking with your art work and animations, what you are doing is not easy but the rewards for doing so will be great in the satisfaction that you get for doing so. :)
Pure beauty! Awesome scenery, very dramatic animation and fabulous music. Amazing what can be done these days with the newest technology. AI is incredible. Superb!
It's nice to have you stop by to take a look and I thank you for the kind words! I have to start thinking about doing a sci-fi animation, since I have not done one in a awhile. I find your art work in the sci-fi genre very inspirational as viewing others art work like yours, tends to motivate me to want to create something in that genre often...I thank you for the inspiration you bring to this site, since you do sci-fi renders so well my friend! :)
