This is an Apophysis fractal with another fractal as a soft background.
With a small poem below.

High Tones
As if life could sing,
on its way to the source.
Purifying her higher tones,
deep valleys that reward,
a sea of flowers lit with crowns
in which love may richly dwell.

I commented on this privately, but I want to reiterate that it really does capture your title and poem. And the background is so wonderfully unusual, and a great contrast to the very clean-cut shapes in the foreground. (The shapes look like cosmic flowers as well as cellular organisms.) The background is like a whole world preserved under a sheet of ice: Like a shallow pond or creek, under ice in winter. The hues are 'melded', even melted; and the top right looks like a spider wove its web on the surface of the ice. The light also feels like the light inside a stained glass window. It feels alit from within. And your second version is like a the first version photographed at night.
Your poem is a short "snapshot" of the profound act of reaching for heaven, and for love. The sea of flowers lit with crowns somehow makes me think of Jesus. I don't know why, but its like his spirit graces this flower, and makes it shine. (The lower left "bubbles" have a wonderful feeling of tiny organisms swimming to the surface.) This kind of art is why you're one of the best artists here. Beautiful work, once more.
Thank you for your wonderful response, Mark. It's been a while since I posted this fractal, and now that I'm looking at it again I'm very surprised at how I was able to create this. Yes, I can imagine if the line "sea of flowers covered with crowns" reminds you of Jesus. Who knows in association with the crown of thorns? I love your words, any of them, my friend.
