Thanks, gmvgmvgmv. This rain was actually created almost entirely in Bryce—except for the splashes on the umbrella and a few on the ground; those are Photoshop.
OK, to start, which version of Bryce are you running? Then, which tool did you use? I cannot imagine doing this in Bryce 5.
I started with version 5.5. This is version 7. No external tools were used. The rain consists of tarps created in Bryce, the ground effect is terrain modeling, and there is a bit of Photoshop work.
