Description
FIFI is a Boeing B-29A produced in 1945. It served with the USAF and was purchased by the Commerative (formerly Confederate) Air Force in 1971. It was refurbished and is one of two flying B-29 bombers today. The photo was taken at Ellington Air Force Base in the 1980's during a "Wings Over Houston" air show. I arrived early in the morning to catch the yellow sunlight without crowds. Crew members were inspecting the plane. #photography #airplanes
