~Deunan and Briareos~
Another take on Deunan and her cyborg partner (and lover) Briareos (from Appleseed), where we can see a clear shift in Masamune Shirow's art style - a complete departure from his 1980's cartoonish lines to a more stylized semi-realistic design. It's worth mentioning that Shirow is one of the most influential mecha designers of all times, and with a signature style that is easily recognizable.

Hehe this is the SAME girl from my previous posts, but Mr. Masamune Shirow has changed his artstyle between the 1980s and the 90s, becoming more semi-realistic when it used to be more cartoonish. I like this much better! 😁

Thank you! That's a mecha plugsuit, so it has to be tight and thin. Not that I am complaining... 😄
Wow...this looks amazing and the colors are so vibrant! I noticed when doing these in real life as a 3D printed sculpture...unless you are painting them afterward, you will not get these bright colors straight out of a 3D printer. :-)
Maybe that's the point - it looks great because it's not real. 😁
