Description
After 6 scenic hours on the train and 2 hours on foot, I arrived at the coordinates of the crashed balloon.
As the subject of interest came into view, it didn't take me long to realize it was not a weather balloon.
Someone had lied.

I am here to officially certify that this does not appear to be a weather balloon! What we have here is what may turn out to be a very interesting and developing story by our friend Max. The person who spread the false information must be found out and only then will we know the true nefarious reasons behind the lie.

I'm afraid this mystery is closed for now -- some elite military well-armed team chased me away before I could poke around more closely!

Oh the mark 847 Zephyr.....I haven't seen one of these balloons since they were decommissioned some 20 years ago, the reason they were decommissioned is simple, they fell out of the sky without warning.

Maybe the just meant they weren't sure "weather" it was a balloon or not ;)
