Description
As word of my new part-time gig as a reporter spread, I got another tip -- this time about a strange weather balloon that crashed in the Amazon Jungle. At least that was the official story.
After finishing my pizza, I quickly hopped on my Amazon train to see this balloon for myself.

This is so sharp and detailed. The people on the walkway and the moss hanging on the wires are just great. For me, this rates as one of your best.
Gee thanks, Lyla! ... I'm flattened ... er, flattered ;-)
Congrats on your new inspiration for another great story developing in that creative mind of yours...we all know too well how those weather balloon stories have a way of developing into more than what others claim them to be.
This scene looks fantastic in how detailed it is, its almost like being transported into another time period from the past! As a fan of your art work, I will look forward to the next installment Max...enjoy the day my friend! :-)
I'm sure it's just a silly balloon, Johnny ... nothing to see ... ;-)
As for a new story ... nah, these are just short takes ... the main original story is on hold til further notice :-)
Nice jungle and train picture. I hope the pizza was good. - Bob
Thanks, Bob ... and my pizza is always good for me -- it stimulates and refreshes all my molecules:-)
ein fantasitsches Bild gefällt mir sehr gut
Thank you, Pauli :-)
This is absolutely fantastic! I love those old steamers - there's just something about them....
Well, be careful... We all know what happens when those mysterious "things" crash in the Amazon...
Yep, I've seen and rode my share of those steamers and they are awesome :-)
Wow...this really sets the scene and has a story all of its own....I can feel the humidity and looking everywhere for danger...Superb creation Max :)
Thanks, Steff! No danger here, though ... besides snakes and leopards ;-)
