Einst wanderte im tiefen Winter eine alte zerzauste Mammutmutter mit ihrem kleinen Kalb an ihrer Seite. Die Luft klirrte vor Frost und das kleine Kalb versuchte immer wieder, Schutz vor der Kälte zwischen den Beinen der Mutter zu finden. Zu hören waren nur die knirschenden Schritte der beiden großartigen Tiere im tiefen Schnee. Plötzlich erhellte ein sanftes, warmes Licht genau vor ihnen den Weg. Mutter und Kind hoben erstaunt ihren Blick in Richtung des glühenden Schimmers und entdeckten ein Wesen mit feuerroten Locken, das inmitten eines weichen roten Lichtkreises vor ihnen stand und ihnen neugierig entgegenblickte. Dick eingepackt in Menschenkleidung, strahlte das Wesen eine magische, so gar nicht menschliche Wärme aus, die in dem eisigen Wald ungewöhnlich, aber höchst willkommen war. Das Mammutkalb, neugierig und voller Staunen, schaute das Wesen mit großen Augen an. Sein Rüssel versuchte ihren Geruch aufzunehmen und seine Augen betrachteten das ihm unbekannte Wesen voller Ehrfurcht. Die Fee lächelte und hob vorsichtig die Hand in Richtung der riesigen Tiere, um zu zeigen, dass sie nichts Böses im Sinne hatte. Plötzlich wurde das Kalb von einer wohltuenden Wärme erfüllt, die es bis in sein Herz und seine kleine noch junge Seele spürte. Die Mammutmutter beobachtete die Szene und spürte schnell, dass die Fee keine Gefahr darstellte. Sie nahm das Wesen wahr als eine magische, wenn auch unbekannte Macht, die Wärme und Licht in ihre kalte Winterwelt brachte. Die Fee begann einen leisen, melodischen Gesang, der Geschichten von uralten Wäldern und ihren Bewohnern erzählte. Schneeflocken tanzten in ihrem Licht und schienen jeden Moment lebendig zu werden. Die Mammutmutter und ihr Kind entspannten sich für einen Moment und ließen sich von der Musik und ihren wundersamen Geschichten tragen. Nach einer Weile verblasste das Licht der Fee, und sie verschwand so plötzlich, wie sie gekommen war. Zurück blieb ein Gefühl von Wärme und Sicherheit, das die beiden Mammuts noch lange auf ihrem Weg durch die Kälte begleiten würde. Hatten sie doch beide am eigenen Leib erlebt, dass selbst im tiefsten Winter kleine Wunder geschehen konnten. Nur eine Geschichte, aber eine schöne magische Vorstellung, die mich auf dem ein oder anderen Winterspaziergang begleiten könnte und mir so ein wenig magische Wärme auf meinem weiteren, vielleicht dunklen Weg mitgeben könnte. -Samara Blue/Kerstin Ellinghoven Once upon a time, in the depths of winter, an old disheveled mammoth mother wandered with her little calf at her side. The air crackled with frost and the little calf kept trying to find shelter from the cold between its mother's legs. All that could be heard were the crunching footsteps of the two magnificent animals in the deep snow. Suddenly, a soft, warm light illuminated the path right in front of them. Mother and child raised their eyes in amazement towards the glowing glow and discovered a creature with fiery red curls standing in front of them in the middle of a soft red circle of light, looking curiously at them. Thickly wrapped in human clothing, the creature radiated a magical, not at all human warmth, which was unusual in the icy forest, but most welcome. The mammoth calf, curious and full of wonder, looked at the creature with wide eyes. Its trunk tried to pick up her scent and its eyes regarded the unknown creature with awe. The fairy smiled and carefully raised her hand in the direction of the huge animals to show that she meant no harm. Suddenly, the calf was filled with a soothing warmth that it felt in its heart and its young soul. The mammoth mother observed the scene and quickly sensed that the fairy posed no danger. She perceived the creature as a magical, albeit unknown, force that brought warmth and light into her cold winter world. The fairy began a soft, melodic song that told stories of ancient forests and their inhabitants. Snowflakes danced in her light and seemed to come alive at any moment. The mammoth mother and her child relaxed for a moment and let themselves be carried away by the music and its wondrous stories. After a while, the fairy's light faded and she disappeared as suddenly as she had come. What remained was a feeling of warmth and security that would accompany the two mammoths on their journey through the cold for a long time to come. After all, they had both experienced first-hand that small miracles could happen even in the depths of winter.
