Eine entbehrungsreiche Zeit hat sie hinter sich gebracht. Ein Zeit des Kampfes, der Gefahr und der großen Kraftanstrengungen. Nicht nur für sich selbst hat sie gekämpft, sondern auch für Freiheit und Sicherheit ihrer Lieben, ihrer Familie, ihres Volkes. Überstanden hat sie diese Zeit mit Glauben an sich selbst, an ihre Fähigkeiten und mit dem Glauben an eine Gute Sache. Nun ist sie heimgekehrt, den Körper von Schmutz und Blut befreit. Allein die Befreiung ihres Geistes und ihrer Seele werden noch einige Zeit in Anspruch nehmen. Zu tief sitzen Schmerz, Trauer und Elend. Stolz aber steht sie in der Vorhalle ihres Wohnsitzes. Fühlt die immer wieder aufgehende Morgensonne auf ihrem Gesicht. Ein Gesicht, das noch nicht vollkommene verheilte Wunden zeigt, wenn man ganz genau hinschaut. Doch das stört sie nicht. Sie spürt nur die Wärme und das Licht der Sonne, dass durch die bunten Glasfenster fällt und helle Lichtpunkte auf ihr Gesicht und ihre Rüstung malt. Sie nimmt diese Wärme, dieses Licht als Entschädigung, als Lohn dafür, dass sie die ist, die sie ist. She fought not only for herself, but also for the freedom and safety of her loved ones, her family, her people. She survived this time with faith in herself, in her abilities, and with faith in a just cause. Now she has returned home, her body cleansed of dirt and blood. The liberation of her mind and soul alone will take some time. Pain, grief, and misery run too deep. But she stands proudly in the vestibule of her residence. She feels the ever-rising morning sun on her face. A face that, if one looks closely, still shows wounds that have not fully healed. But this does not bother her. She feels only the warmth and the light of the sun, which filters through the stained-glass windows, painting bright points of light on her face and her armor. She accepts this warmth, this light, as compensation, as reward for being who she is.
