Description

I promise this is the last WIP of this one, yure probably as sick of the pic as i am by now. The to do list only consists of the VW now and possibbly a plane in the upper right of screen. That will give me a title for this one as well. Will post the final soon(promise)

Wow, I just stumbled across this one. It's coming along nicely. I love the way that the pigeons look like they are plotting something. In my opinion...and it's just my opinion, the dog seems to distract from the rest of the great details you've put into this one. I sort of see what you're trying to do with picking up some of the color from the background building in the dog's fur. If this was my image, I would lose the dog.

Have the dog look at the pigeons. Like it is about to jump them! :-)

Now that they mention it... i guess that the dog could use a color change. The "beetle" has a bit too much diffusion, washes out a bit strong for a derelict. The headlights, tires and underchassis could use a bit more work as well, and only because they look out of place compared with the rest of this fantastic image.

im not sick of it, for me its interesting how these pics grow...and how they look then when they're finished. to the pic i think its nearly perfect i only can agree to moebius....maybe the pose of the dog, i would let him lay or sit couse it looks all so calm and quiet but thats only my opinion and at last i dont know what but the doves looks a bit too unnatural for the rest of the pic. at all its a really great picture!!! :)

I agree about the dog and the VW (the dog should go, and the VW needs to be a little bit more distressed, maybe). But gosh! I just love this pic so much. I'm gonna be kind of sad when it's finished!

The beetle definitely looks too over exposed. I also think you should introduce some fog to lessen the impact of the buildings in the background. Still, coming along nicely.

The whole thing looked fine to me. However, the beetle needs more work. All I can give you is a Good - Wei Hoy

Thanks for the feedback guys. Moebius I should've been clearer about the Vdub. I have just started modelling that and what you see now is a rough proxy that I will gradually replace with better modellled and textured parts. As for the dog, I agree totally and have half finished rigging him to see if I can pose him in a nice natural position or have hime chasing the pigeons and have a nice motion shot of them scattering and taking off???? I forgot to to turn my fog back on when I rendered the backdrop but that is fixed now(thanks for the heads up) I might not have noticed with tunnel vision on next layer. Will post final soon.
