Description
A phenomenon of early slasher films, especially from the 80s and 90s: whenever a gruesome murder occurs, there's always that one woman who screams incessantly and often ends up becoming a victim herself.
This started with Carpenter's Halloween in the late 70s; Jamie Lee Curtis was, to my knowledge, the first and one of the most famous scream queens.
In 2015, there was even a TV series of the same name.
