Well, its done. Hope you like it. Thanks for hints and tips along the way. Now I can move onto smaller, less ambitious pics with a free conscience.

sturkwurk - I tried a few closer camera positions when I was first setting the scene up, but I lost the scope I was after. Have some future images in my head that will be a bit closer to the action :) . danamo - yeap, planning and organisation is one of the biggest things about this image. Luckily I'm an engineer, so I find organising only a moderate impossibility ;) . queequeg - WETA can eat anything they want, as long as they spit their render farm in my direction :)
Gosh! I just found this and I'm looking and looking, - also reading the "making" on your pages. It's absolutely amazing! You know, guys like you are both encouraging and discouraging. lol Encouraging that it's possible; discouraging to see how much there still is to learn. ..still lauging at the animation request!

What can be said that hasn't already by some of the most well received and well respected artists in the 3D arena? Flak, you are truly inspiration to all of us.
