Description
Hi all and hope your well :)
Just another silly play for no particular reason but saw a 3d TV recently and thought.....well there's a piece of tech you don't give someone with a bad heart :) (I have a bad heart so I know I will never own one of these TV's...lol)
At the moment I will be here every 2 days...like I was in the past and for now I will be only catching up with those that comment....no tit for tat just better use of my limited time....so much going on but am really happy I have time to render :)
Thanks for dropping by, take care, peace.

Well executed! Love the subtle light and shadow mixed just in the right proportions.:-)

Lighting was the hardest part of this, trying to get it to look like TV light and house light. Got close and something I want to re-visit as I think I can do better :)
Thanks for the peek Max :)
Steff_7
Probably should have put some static on the screen ?
starship64
After seeing this, I don't think I want a 3d television. Or, at least, if I get one, I won't watch that channel!
Steff_7
LOL...make sure you have easy access to an exit would be my advice :)
Thank you :)
max-
Nah, no static really needed. Perhaps just a bit more brightness and bloom on the TV screen, but not too much ... which can be quickly and easily tweaked in post-work to your heart's desire.
Steff_7
You are right but what you do not know is there is no tv screen, the view on the screen is another room prop with real characters, fog and bg. I basically created 2 scenes, cut a hole in the wall, put a frame around the hole and got my character to exit through said hole, so there is nothing to bloom in the render, or in postwork at my skill level to improve this yet....but I am learning and will figure it out....trust me...lol
Can upload the wire frame snaps of this scene if you wish as I have them handy so you can see the actual layout from a 3rd person POV.
Thanks for dropping by Max....really appreciated :)

If monsters can come out this TV set, I'll never buy one ! Great compo.
Steff_7
I agree with you Gaius.....to old for a shock like this in my lounge room.....lol
Thank you :)

Hope they offer a shotgun when you buy such a TV. Agree with max-
Steff_7
Lol...that would be great but hell on the wall paper :)
Max is right but no TV screen, 2 sets put together and rendered as 1 to create this look.
Thank you and for dropping by :)

Really well done, and that TV takes realism to a whole new level!
I can certainly relate to that limited time thing.... Hope all goes well for you!
Steff_7
Life is what it is Rod so we make do and thanks for dropping by. The screen is actually a complete set on the other side of the wall, not a pic or plane but a full 3d set :)
ladylake
Very realistic scene.
Steff_7
Thank you very much :)
poser4me
Now these are some awesome 3d glasses, great idea!
Steff_7
Thank you and 2 separate sets with separate FX, put together and seen through a hole in the wall as 1 render. Got the wire frame pics if you wish to see how I laid this out but you probably already know my friend :)
rbowen
Excellent work!
Steff_7
Thank you :)

Never had a 3D TV, I hope it's not as real as your amazing work. Great as always Steff_7👍🙋♂️ Sorry for my English 😉
Steff_7
Not real yet but soon I think...lol Your English is perfect and thank you for taking a peek :)

LoL ... That certainly is an very ingenious way to pull this off! The thing is, once the whole scene is rendered, the very final image can be manually post-worked in a thousand different ways to tweak it just the way you want:-) Nothing evil about manual post-work ... it's part of the skill of art ;-)
Steff_7
True what you say but I am currently lacking the skill.....thats why I love creating...always something new to learn :)
g1tip
Very cool !!!!
Steff_7
Thank you :)
thartwick1
That would certainly be a freakout! Well done!
