Thanks for looking.... I will spare you my usual tales of high adventure and rambling fantasy, as I'm just back from a quest in Germania and now in the midst of settling back after my travels. It was while I was traipsing through the mountains behind my residence and stretching my aching legs, that I caught a glimpse of another rare Sidhe, out near the Sally Gap, where the old Oak and Hazel tree have grown around each other beside the tomb of a forgotten king. You won't find anything written about her nowadays, indeed barely a mention in the ancient ogham tablets and pre-christian scratchings, but Orna of the Hills was a local goddess in this region, reputed to care for the trees and mountain streams, she was also known to give aid to travellers and share energising honey mead with them to speed their journeys. Or perhaps, it was to get them off her mountains so she could have peace and quiet, I'm not sure. Needless to say, I only glimpsed her from a distance near an old cairn, so this render is but a feeble attempt to capture the moment. Luckily I had my computer and monitor with me to do so... although why I didn't use my phone's camera instead, is a thought for another day. ---- PS: AFAIK, there is no local goddess known as Orna or Obharnait/Odharnait and this was just an excuse to use the new Osuine for G9 by Sangriart.
