Hello dear friends,
I've never observed this beetle, so I was very surprised when I discovered it in our garden.
The beetle is more than 2 cm. large, and has a golden glow.
The bottom is beautiful gold/red in color.
On the last photo you can see the Bee Beetle, or Brush Beetle.
btw The 1st photo was also placed in our daily newspaper of our province of Limburg/The Nedtherlands.

Oh, these are magnificent photos, my friend! That beetle is gorgeous, and you really brought out it's wonderful, almost metallic glow.
I used to love catching and collecting all kinds of insects when I was a kid. All the other kids thought I was weird, and even had a "pet" name for me: "Bugface" LOL!
