Description
Sometimes I feel like time stands still.
Sometimes I feel the same way I did 25 years ago: the same thoughts, the same intensity, the same pain, the same grief.
Sometimes I feel like I'm still waiting for my life to finally begin.
Time doesn't stand still. I'm 25 years older, but nothing has changed inside.
I see my body aging, but my mind remains where it was — frozen in grief and pain.
A bit melancholic today — sometimes, alongside all the elves, the sadness needs to come out too.
Jancory asked me if I wanted to test his new Hue materials, and they are truly brilliant.
I went with a glowing ghostly presence. The original image already had a melancholic feel to it,
but the material added an extra layer of fantasy.
The layers could be applied to La Femme with just one click.
For the hair and clothing, I copied the layer manually from La Femme’s material settings. :)
It’s a really fantastic set, and I can imagine it giving a whole new twist to many renders. :D

Nice illustration of your text. I know the feeling well as I still feel much the same as I did fifty years ago as I stood on the brink of adulthood. I'm still wondering when my life will begin. :-)

Sometimes it really does feel like we’re just watching life go by, not quite part of it. That strange in-between state... not quite here, not quite gone. Maybe the waiting is part of the story — even if it’s not the part we hoped for. Sending you a warm hug across time and space.

The messaging behind this as well is interesting as well. I think sometimes we expect too much of ourselves. It is perfectly okay to have things move around you while you stand still. We all move at our own pace and have our own goals and desires.

Your three images give me the idea that a very small being, an animal perhaps, was approaching a person who is full of compassion. Following your text, despite the years, I see people as I knew them, young, I know they have aged but I see them young .
