The Fae peoples are a very changeable race, and as quick as a thought. When the Dragon Fae made the decision to traverse the Dragon Trails between the Universes, instead of building light ships, they became light ships to endure the journeys. Some say, it was not ships they became, but Dragons - who are all light and songs anyway.
