Hello dear friends,
This is an image made from one of my oil-paintings, using a filter in Deep Dream Generator.
The painting you see is in reality larger, or maybe you say 'bigger'.
When I finished this painting and attached it to the wall, it was on September 11, 2001.
The news was on the T.V. and reported about the terrible attack on the Twin Towers, I looked at the painting and saw something that looked like a burning tower (on the right in the painting).
Very remarkable, and so sad.
The painting depicts various worlds in their diversity.
Also in the present you unfortunately see a big gap, the difference between rich and poor, the threat, the danger between continents and its world leaders.
Count your blessings and all your freedoms that you have in making your art, despite everything we can be happy, as long as we don't forget the other.

your painting is stunning, Jacomina. It's abstract, yet it's very "concrete". And yes, I can see the towers, and I can see flames. It's both very geometric, and (at the same time) very expressive. The yellows in the right side do suggest fire, and passion, and even struggle. And the left side is much darker, more brooding. I love your shapes---this has a very "cubist" feeling, and yet it's very passionate. Lots of reds and deep crimson-purples (passionate hues). And then, lighter pinks and reds, and yellows. And it has much diversity---yes. I can see how this evokes the vast diversity of our planet (especially as you have planets all through the painting). It's a terrific painting, Jacomina. Very introspective.
The D.Dream Generator version suddenly epxlodes with all these "digital vines"---you have these falling vines in the center---around the woman's face---and tlying vines in space (on the left), and "leaves" from the vines falling all over the center and left. It's as if your painting exploded, and revealed all this atomic energy, with particles flying all over. An explosive, very exuberant version of your painting.
On the far right, suddenly this becomes photographic too (well, you have a real-looking object on the bottom too): The large vase-bowl. And the tree above it---it looks like a sculpture of a tree with blossoms, attatched to a blue panel. It's beautiful. Your shapes in the painting have turned-into supporting panels in your DDG version. Those big geometric shapes support all the bursting activity around them.
It's like energies just blasted through your painting---coming from inside the painting---and revealed a whole world of magic, fairy tale energy, and so on. And (yeah, I'm not done yet: you need to put aside a week to read my comments!): It almost has a "glass" feeling---like your painting "erupted", and it shattered some invisible glass wall, revealing all kinds of activity within it. Terrific work, Jacomina. And the painting itself is wonderful. (It's always great to see your physical art.) Both ot these images are revelations.
