Hello dear friends,
This image is made by FE, only PP for sign. and frame.
Using another FE as texture, then just a little bit embossed.
Easter Island was discovered on Easter Sunday,
5 April 1722 by the Dutchman Jacob Roggeveen.
Another indigenous name for the island is
"Mata ki te rani" : "Eyes that look at the sky".
It is famous for its "Moai", to nine and a half meter high statues.
Maybe you can see one of them here, in the background up-right?
There is a lot more I can tell you about this island.
But as you know, we eat lots of Easter eggs as a sign of new life,
so I've got some eggs deposited here too. :-)

Again, you are exploring eggs, the symbol of birth---only here, it feels like "nascent" birth (in English---ontluikend? birth not born yet, but about to be born). Your eggs are huge, beautiful fractal orbs, filled with moving and growing forces. And I can see how they suggest the giant heads of Easter Island (the Moai). You've combined the Moai with giant eggs of birth, here.
And the ground and sky are filled with "bursting" forms---suggesting that the universe about to burst-open once Christ is born. There are even tower-figures---the tall cathedral like shapes on the far-left: Maybe these hint at churches---but these are churches of the soul, not of bricks and stone. An amazing image, Jacomina. And the tiny eggs along the horizons suggest (to me) the procession of souls coming to see the resurrection, perhaps from all over the world. An amazing work for Easter.
This is just delightful, Jacomina. Love those big eggs - as Mark said, an amazing work!
