thank you! maybe the things i did to try to take her out of 'pretty mode' are too subtle, which i have a habit of being... i remember i was once told by someone here on Rendo, though so long ago now that i remember not who it was, that part of what makes 'good art' is "having a bit of exaggeration going on somewhere in the image". i can't seem to do that naturally and comfortably. i may've misunderstood the intent of the words though, as p'raps 'exaggeration' could simply mean an area of focus...

You absolutely failed. She is not on the edge of 'not pretty all at once.' She is gorgeous, absolutely lovely, and breathtakingly beautiful. :D I can't see anything that isn't beautiful about her <3

heh... maybe i'll should rework her a tad... i tend to look at things i am working on from across a room, literally, to see how they look from a distance, as well as from the obvious perspective we all have sitting in front of monitors; and from a distance, she looks not quite the same as up close. essentially, once i back away a bit from seeing the textures with some clarity, i see her morph a bit more clearly, and she is less 'pretty' to me in that mode. the same way as if you take an image and flip it horizontally to understand better the perspective of the camera, and balance. :))
