Description
"When the team sent me across the pond to offer aid I figured it was something more... eh... normal. Not so danged mystical!" Mme America murmured. "When you had me enter the stone circle with you I didn't figure on winding up in creepy parallel world or whatever."
"Jack in the green is very unhappy," the British Bombshell patiently explained. "Climate change. Pollution. He has retreated from our world into this twilight land. You're meant to help me assure him we're grateful for the gifts of Spring and convince him to return. Else climate driven disasters will become much worse." Miss Britain paused and pondered a moment. "He's a fairy but he's no fool; he knows climate change and pollution are not exclusive products of Britain."
"So I'm to represent the rest of the world outside of your danged island?" Mme America complained. "Just terrific! I don't know that I even believe in Fairies or magic!"
"You believe in me don't you?" Miss Britain responded. "Now hush, it'll take quiet and patience for us to tease the green man out into the open."
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 13.2.686 using the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine. Some postwork was done in Cycles itself and a tad more in Photoshop. The setting is by DM and the characters are based on good ol' V4. Miss Britain is the original character of EnglishDamsel and Mme America is mine. The characters originated for use in role play within Second Life. I've worked a bit with their shapes (not much, they were great as originally conceived) and quite a bit with their textures to get them to render nicely in Superfly. I could make a few more pictures with them. I know their adventures used to be quite popular at my DeviantArt site.

Quite the fantastic image, Molly! New escape dimensions! Where the door to that realm? Sign me up! Wait, I can't just turn my back on this poor planet! Our poor Mother Earth, Gaia, really needs a big break from us humans and soon. How can we ever get everyone to realize that?
Glad you enjoyed the picture enough to comment, my dear. Thanks for the encouragement and joining into predicament that Miss Britain and her American partner are dealing with. It would be great if we could count on assistance from magical allies like the Jack in the Green but I'm afraid in the real world it's all on us. =(
Molly
Love the outfits. Cool characters
Thank you, dear friend. I'm a sucker for flag-themed heroines and heroes like Wonder Woman and Captain America as is my friend from Second Life who originated Miss Britain. I think this is the first time I've brought these two over here to Renderosity. Perhaps I shall share more of their perilous adventures.

Looking good here, Molly! Sounds like they could get into some interesting situations.. Yeah, we as a species have pretty well loused up this planet.
Thank you, Rod. These two have been in all sorts of perilous situations in Second Life and at my DeviantArt site. They used to be quite popular and I'm delighted that their return was welcomed there and that they may also have a home here in the future. =)
As for climate change... >.<

Fun to read and study Mollz. We might need Jack, but if we can convince more people regarding climate change maybe we can convince them to portal them out in herds. Solve population growth in a sort of a culling. Then we clean things up for those who remain...
Like America's expression. Like the whole matter is a nuisance. Brit looks angry. Curious to see whatr Jack has to say when he emerges.
Like the purple skies. Hints of Orestes....
Thanks, JD. I've posted a continuation of this (well two images of a continuation) over at DeviantArt and I might post them here, too. These two science heroes have been around for years at DeviantArt and in Second Life; I thought maybe they should show up here. Glad that you seem to have enjoyed them and I'm delighted that you bothered to check out their expressions. I spend a lot of time with pose and expression (although sometimes you wouldn't know it! XD ).
Molly
t'hem to portal out in herds'....never been a quick draw self-editor when I change things.
XD
Molly
You should let them play in here awhile. They've earned it :)
I'll see about bringing them over here, then. Thanks for the encouragement, JD! =)
