Liberty Freedom is a character who is somewhat inspired by Wonder Woman, or similar characters from other comics companies. The difference is that she's not really an actual Amazon who just wears an American inspired outfit honoring her adopted country. The twist is that she is actually a real American woman who gains super-powers from a combination of mysterious "Amazon-like" armor and weapons, and a family trait of various members gaining powers from various spiritual forces. The Whites family is another group that hails from Washington, D.C. Therefore, at some point in her life she relocated from D.C. to USA City, and even being in another part of the United States didn't stop her from fulfilling her destiny in becoming the second member of her family to inherit the powers of an "American Spirit." It was apparently meant to be, and the ancient artifacts that are the conduits of the spiritual powers were probably going to wind up in her possession one way or another.
