Great lighting, poses and texturing. The gritty texturing on the architecture is especially effective.
During my late teens I had to go through this sort of thing, believe me. (All male Singaporeans have to go through two or so years of compulsory military service once they reach the age of 18 or 19.) Glad it's all way behind me now...
