Description
Madame Airi is a character I am developing with some stories in mind. Although she is Nipponese by birth she is now a citizen of New Babbage. She is reputed to be a genius inventor but also a criminal mastermind. Her uniformed minions are avoided by law-abiding citizens and feared by the underworld. She is depicted here with her most trusted assistants Caedmon MacIntosh and Kim Su Woo; both are talented engineers and brutal martial artists.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 3.1.518 using the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine. Some post work was performed within Superfly and some additional work to add a subtle vignette and sharpness was completed in Photoshop. Madame Airi is based on La Femme 2 Pro using morphs that are part of the Body FX and Face FX products; her texture is for La Femme and was created by 3Dream. Caedmon is based on M4. Kim Su Woo is based on V4. The background is by DM. Some handy scripts by Ken1171_Design were used as were the indispensable Superfly materials by Vince Bagna to tweak materials for best appearance using Superfly.

Thanks! Steampunk color palettes tend to the earth-tones and I thought Madame Airi should stand out from the rest of the scene and her minions. This is the second picture I've done with the character and I'm starting to like her more and more. It's good to have some villainous characters! XD

Thank you! I've been enjoying cobbling together steampunk styled characters and stories for some time now. I'm working on the next page of my Lilja Darkstar steampunk story and hope to have it ready to post in a day or two. =) Madame Airi may be getting a story when I'm done with Lilja. XD

I do think Tanaka's red velvet outfit suits and the goons should be in somber brown or grey. That's how it's supposed to work :)
The green shades add a nice reverse touch to the old 'every room needs a touch or red' adage. Had her shades been to dark you'd have lost half herc expression.
We need Uma Thurman with a katana to give Tanaka an attirude adjustment :)
