Description
Dhalia agreed to some studio portraits and arrived on time. She shyly peeked through her somewhat disheveled hair. "Are you done yet?"
"Just another couple of exposures," I told her. "You're quite pretty; just try to relax!"
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 13.1.469 using the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine with a bit of postwork both in Superfly (very small bit of "bloom" and noise reduction) and then Photoshop (some additional clarity and a subtle vignette). The character is based on La Femme 2, dressed in clothing for V4 by Tipol and my studio is supplied with lighting and props by Afrodite-Ohki's wonderful "Level Up!" content.
Just a simple character idea for another ghost in my Professor Van Humbeek/Lena Bubnoff continuity.

Heh. Thanks, Joe. I decided to spell name "Dhalia" the way Tempesta3D did for the character even though I know the flower is spelled differently. She is a sweet little flower no matter how you decide to spell her name! =)

Hi Mollz - a 'woobie' is a character who makes the viewer/reader feel sorry for them because bad things tend to happen to them. Doesn't hurt if they are cute or adorable....

Thank you, my dear! As I know you are a photographer your comment is particularly pleasing to me. I am getting better with DoF; I think it needs to be used in a very subtle manner to mimic what would actually be going on with a camera. Of course, I see it as a tool to lend emphasis to the foreground rather than an artifact of the physics of the camera lens. I'm told really good photographers think of it that way, too! =)
