Thanks krid - poses were nearly click and position with very little tweaking required and the lighting was purely FG's and required only the dimming of the light above Ellie and adding an emissive to the TV.

You show us the intimacy of this family. The idea, the lighting, the environment and the attitude of the characters are the top of the realism! Hat off!

Thanks 3D on several accounts! The developing dynamics between characters has always been a strength in Naughty Dog games, a major point in all their stories. The Last of Us was no exception.

HBO did a great adaptation. Anna Torv (Tess). Bella Ramsey (Ellie) and Pablo Pasqual (Joel) might not have been my casting choices but after seeing them interact, I wouldn't choose any others.

Thanks Richard - in attempting to build upon 'game and story' canon, I would venture that Ellie (forefront) is currently engrossed in the TV show - likely unlike anything she'd ever experienced.

Tess is beginning to warm a little as Ellie, though a chatterbox, is hard not to like.

Then again, the Ellie as depicted in this scene is from the seond game - seven years after Tess's death and Ellie has hardened a great deal. Speculative a best, and of course mixey-matchy :)
