Description
Sonja soared away from the airship toward the stronghold of Baron Von Reanimeister. She lit the steam rocket pack and easily achieved control of her flight. "I'll have a quick look at the base of these rocky towers," she thought as she whooshed past the glass enclosure topping one of the towers.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 13.0.287 with some tweaking from Photoshop. The content include Sonja based on La Femme with modifications from Afrodite-Ohki. The steam powered dirigible in the distance is from DAZ. Baron Von Reanimeister's stronghold is the Steampunk Hideaway found at DAZ. Other aspects of the setting are the work of Cybertenko and Flink. You do realize balloon-based recon can be a tad risky at times.... LOL Keep an eye peeled for those steampunk Sidewinders...

I'm sure that in this universe, whatever makes the balloon air buoyant won't be flammable but is of a very safe and totally unheard of substance known to our world, right, Molly? LOL! A wonderful scene and great looking creation! Bravo!
Indeed, just as steam has more specific impulse than is reasonable as a source of jet power! XD
The physics of my (and other) steampunk worlds qualifies the stories as more fantasy than science fiction but, hey, I know what I like! ;-P

Yes, the Baron is pretty arrogant to think that the location of his stronghold is an adequate defense. This is specially true when his adversary is a creative spark like Sonja! XD
