Description
After a week my better half is back from the hospital so grateful. I got inspired to work on this image.
Looks like tensions have come to head between Backburner and her older brother Gilt Trip. Using her pyrokinetic abilities to bypass his cybernetic defenses. Hard Time can't be burned but she's still a little conflicted about which sibling to help.
Backburner: Why are we handing the whole take over to this guy? I'm nobody's henchwoman!
Gilt Trip: Thea will you back off! Doc Vader helped us your prison escape. This is the last of what I owe him.
Hard Time: Look sis I get your mad about how long you were in prison but G.T. is being straight with you.
Doc Vader: Not to interrupt this touching family moment but I don't want to be around if Backburner's power display attracts any
unwanted attention.
Gilt Trip: Doc just take the cash and go. We're square after this.
Doc Vader: Of course, but if you ever change your mind about that job prospect, you know how to reach me.
Gilt Trip: I got your contact info, no disrespect but I think we'll pass.
Hard Time: Yeah, I think we'll be okay.
Backburner: What I don't get in say in what job we take?
Gilt Trip: Thea we need to lay low maybe get an outfit that doesn't scream I just escaped from prison.

But she doesn't want to give up her signature orange color, even if it does look like a prison jumpsuit! Actually, that might make her look less suspicious b/c who would purposely go about in a prison jumpsuit? She can claim it's a fashion statement!
Nice scene of bickering among the siblings, and if they don't take this job, wonder what's coming up next for them?!
Actually that's a good idea in regards to her jumpsuit. Glad you liked this scene. I do plan on them taking Doc Vader's job offer. 😉

Thanks RodS. I wanted to show that there's definitely friction between Backburner and her brother. Happy that various elements used in the image helped to convey the story.
Even sibling villains squabble, it seems. Nice story-telling through dialog and the picture is interesting with plenty to engage the eye. I have to look into that neon sign construction set. I've had it for a while but not messed with it. It looks great here. =)

Thanks, I'm glad my storytelling compliments the image. I sometimes combine vincebagna's SuperShaders to enhance the glow for the neon set. It's fun to mix and match the shapes and pieces.
