HelIo, I was born in Germany in 1946 and came 1958 with my parents to Luxemburg.
After the loss of one of my 3 children (Diana) in 1995, I got my invalidity pension and move to sunny spain.
Here I made my first homepage with 2D graphics.
In 2006 I lost my dear son Steve in the train crash on the Luxemburgish/France border. In the same year I found Renderosity, where I became a member and 3d-Artist.
After 17 years Spain I moved back to Luxembourg to be with my daughter Severine and my grandchildren Oscar and Felix.
My 3rd husband Rene (renecyberdoc) and I are now happily married since 1968.

Very cool scene. Nice character. Love the dress
Nightwind 8:52AM | Sat, 02 July 2022
Initially I thought ah, he's left her for the sea as so many sailors just couldn't give up the life. But with the state of her dress, I'd say he skipped out taking everything and leaving her nothing. Of course now I also have the song playing in my head. :)

My story would be that he has left to make his fortune! But what is she to do while she waits for his return?
I hope you will have a good weekend friend!

Wonderful scene here, Ute! My story is pretty close to Nightwind's. Still leaving this lovely lady to hang out with a bunch of old sea-dogs? LOL Not me!

starship64 1:14AM | Sun, 03 July 2022
I think the story has to be about somebody she loves leaving on that ship. This is nicely done!

Beautiful render. Those sailors. Six months at sea, in for a few days, and then out with the tide.
perpetualrevision 8:05PM | Sun, 03 July 2022
Cool backdrop! I wonder how she's going to get back up to the city, as she seems to be stranded on some rocks! I like her sad and slightly exasperated body language!

Very good! Mayby she said, what have I done that you have banished me?

Fantastic work! The person who left died and is being buried at sea. She doesn't know hoe she will carry on!
JoeJarrah 7:23AM | Wed, 06 July 2022
I'd initially thought a a latter day Penelope, with her Odysseus off on some derring-do, but looking closer, it seems she has been taken to, and abandoned on, an unhospitable shore... That castle looks v.cool, like something out of Mervyn Peake!
UteBigSmile 9:07AM | Wed, 06 July 2022
Wrong answer: Te real story is that the old grim lord cast her out because she kept rebelling and good-naturedly left her this old clipper to take her away from the island. 😊
bakapo 12:27PM | Thu, 07 July 2022
Her patched dress looks like he took everything and left her alone. Maybe he even took her money and bought the big ship. The city on the cliff is fascinating, I hope she finds a better partner there.

As always, I like your Steampunk style pictures a lot. I enjoyed your story of the picture that you mention to Joe Jarrah. =)
